(4 customer reviews)

A delightful extra virgin olive oil, great for salads dressings and bursting with flavour.

24 in stock

Olimágina Extra Virgin Olive Oil is a single source, single variety luxury eating olive oil produced from Picual olives, located on seven hectares of prime privately-owned mountainous land in the village of Arbuniel in the province of Jaén in Southern Spain. Located at 400 metres above sea level, the olive groves produce fruit that is robust in nature, packed full of the deepest, richest flavour.

The tasting profile of Olimágina Extra Virgin Olive Oil is clean and mid-weight, with an abundance of fruit at first, followed by a natural mellowing and richness of olive mid-palette. The finish is supremely smooth and long, without any hint of acrid acidity.

Full of natural antioxidants and a high content of polyphenols.

An extra virgin olive oil produced in the heart of the Sierra Mágina, Andalusia in Spain, an area famous for the quality of the oils produced there.

The olives are pressed within 6 hours of harvesting in a local pressing facility.

The product is bottled by Olimagina

1 Star Great Taste Award 2019

Guild of Fine Foods comment, "A light, grassy aroma - very appealing, much like the golden colour. The taste is fresh, peppery and warming, with some notes of bitterness. The mouthfeel is thick and lingering, a great plus. This feels pleasingly well-balanced"

What others are saying

  1. Giving you all the tastes of Spain while trapped in the uk

    Shauni E. (verified owner)

This beautiful oil olive has been thoroughly enjoyed throughout summer adorning salads, simple pastas and bruschetta. It has also been relished as a delicious dipping base or alternatively staring on its own. The olive oil has a beautiful balance of flavour essentially rich but its smoothness ensures it is by no means overpowering. I have loved every drop of this golden liquid and will be purchasing again.

Not only does this oil take pride place on my countertop given it’s sleek design, with all my other oils jealous from their places in the pantry, but it tastes divine! Buy this, buy this now!

  3. You won't regret this one

Edges towards the pricier end of oils but is absolutely worth it. The full flavour stands up well when paired with citrus or vinegar but is equally admirable neat with a bit of salt. The bottle also has a top that avoids the ‘glug’ when you pour, which I love.

  4. An amazng oil for salad dressings

    James S. (verified owner)

Never used an oil this expensive before, and while not for every use, but we have used nothing else for salad dressing and the like since, and don’t think we could ever go back to supermarket stuff. And LOVING the story about the olive grove.
