Gloucester Marmalade, a tantalising blend of premium sweet oranges, Seville oranges, apple juice, and West Country dry cider. Crafted with care and expertise, this exquisite marmalade embodies the rich flavours of the Gloucester countryside.
At the heart of Gloucester Marmalade lies a harmonious fusion of sweet oranges and Seville oranges. The sweet oranges infuse the marmalade with their luscious, juicy flavour, providing a naturally refreshing sweetness. On the other hand, the Seville oranges, renowned for their distinctive bittersweet taste, add a unique depth and tanginess to the blend, creating perfectly balanced flavours.
The apple juice adds a gentle, sweet fruity note that beautifully complements the citrusy essence of the oranges, resulting in a marmalade that is both vibrant and comforting.
But the magic doesn’t stop there. The secret ingredient that sets Gloucester Marmalade apart is the addition of West Country dry cider. This locally sourced cider, crafted from handpicked apples, lends a subtle, sophisticated character to the marmalade. It imparts a delicate hint of acidity and depth, elevating the overall taste and providing a truly distinctive flavour profile.
Versatile and delicious, Gloucester Marmalade is a delightful addition to your breakfast table. Spread it generously on freshly toasted bread or scones, and let its vibrant citrus flavours awaken your taste buds. Its versatility extends beyond breakfast – it can be used as a glaze for roasted meats, a tangy topping for desserts, or a delectable ingredient in marinades and dressings. The possibilities are endless.
