Tregothnan Lemon Verbena Tea Loose Leaf 14 Servings

£8.50

This tea is characterised by an intense lemony zing on the tongue, and is fabulous after dinner.

DESCRIPTION

Tregothnan’s Lemon Verbena tea herbal infusion is made from cut Lemon Verbena leaves to give a wonderfully rich lemon scent and piquant taste when infused. Zingy, zesty, fresh and subtly spicy with a tangy bite, this tisane is the perfect after dinner digestif.

This infusion’s many reported health benefits include it working as an antidepressant, expectorant, nerve tonic, and digestive aid. Lemon Verbena can also be added to other teas to add a hint of lemon and a subtle sweet spicy bite – particularly tasty with a green tea or Earl Grey to make a Lady Grey tea.

The leaves are selected for a luxury caddy box and sleeve. Each box contains 14 individually sealed pouches for maximum freshness. Each pouch contains a perfectly measured quantity of loose leaf and sealed in “bush to cup” freshness into airtight foil pouches. Simply open the pouch and pour the contents into your tea infuser to brew.

For a perfect cup, use freshly boiled water, left to cool to approximately 80ºc, to avoid the loose leaf tea leaves from being scorched with overly hot water. Tregothnan recommends five minutes of steeping time.

PRODUCT INFORMATION

Lemon Verbena leaves are grown for Tregothnan, helping to support British farming and growers. The leaves are cold cured by Tregothnan’s growers to give the most intense flavour.
