A delightful brown carnaroli rice from Italy that has been carefully handled and dried to keep more layers of the external husk on the grain. It is the husk that gives it its warm brown colour, but that also creates a healthier, tastier grain, one that is higher in fibre and vitamins. Because of these extra layers of husk, this brown rice requires a slightly longer cooking time than the semi-milled variant, but in return delights with an even constancy that does not become creamy. This makes it an ideal base ingredient for rice salads, poke bowls, or indeed as a side dish.
