Limited Edition Bermondsey Street Honey
The densely polyfloral honey produced by Bermondsey Street Bees on their home rooftop has consistently won major national awards for its exceptional quality and flavours. Judged ‘Best Honey in London’ at the National Honey Show in 2011, 2017 and 2019, it has also three times been awarded the ultimate Three Stars at the Great Taste Awards. With only eight hives producing this honey, demand always outstrips supply. This year, Bermondsey Street Bees are releasing their favourite batch from the 2020 summer harvest in a Limited Edition with numbered jars.
Handcut Cotswold Honeycomb
Enlightened Cotswold farmers are taking their land back to more traditional management and this honey is produced in areas rich with flowering native trees and mixed hedgerows. The fields are sown with wild flower strips and careful crop rotation nurtures both the soil and the wildlife, supporting an ever-increasing biodiversity. This hand cut honeycomb section contains the bees’ own elegant fusion of wild forage (including bramble, elderflower, rosebay willowherb, white clover, lime, chestnut and cherry) and the crops including borage and field beans which they help to pollinate.
Honeybee Bone China Mug
A bone china mug featuring the signature Honeybee design commissioned by Bermondsey Street Bees from the artist Katie Christianson. A modern take on a traditional scientific drawing, it makes a strong graphic statement. Hand decorated in Scotland; black on white. Dishwasher-safe, bone china mugs combine their luxurious feel and translucent appearance with great strength and durability They also keep hot drinks hotter far longer than normal ceramic mugs.
